Some guns are just plain awesome - the KWA M93R II fits that bill.
This replica is based on the Beretta 93R (the R, stands for Burst...if that`s confusing, just remember...they`re Italian). Clearly inspired from the beretta 92, or M9, it shares the older design aesthetic e.g. frame mounted safety/selector, rather than the more modern slide-mounted M9 we all know and love. Designed to offer plenty of fire power in a small package, they inadvertedly created one of the coolest guns ever made. So cool, in fact, that it`s the basis for Robocop`s Auto 9!
Featured heavily in Hollywood since the 80`s, one of it`s most recognisable appearances was in Broken Arrow, used by John Travolta in the climactic train scene.
Manufactured by KWA, this version is full metal. There are other versions on the market, however this is the one with metal slide, and metal lower, and that really makes it stand out. It is dense and heavy in the hand, exactly what you want. It is based on their NS2 (System 7) system, ensuring excellent gas performance and efficiency, and replicates the 3-round burst.
The folding grip is arguably the most recognisable piece, especially paired with the compensator. This piece looks fantastic, and handles like a dream. It`s easy to see why people love it!
