One Cork Rock Legend, one legendary Cork Family mixed with the finest of food and drink Cork city has to offer, can only mean one thing - Gallagher`s Gastropub is back!
Having had a forced hiatus in 2020 due to a world-wide pandemic, businesses, particularly in the hospitality sector, had time to re-plan their strategies and look at what is most important to their businesses. In the case of the Gannon family, who own Gallagher’s Gastropub, since owning the establishment since 2013, the result of this reflective period has resulted in one main outcome – their menu. Working with their head chef, New-Zealand native, Russell Bast, a brand new menu has been designed that will have everyone singing their praises. Something for everyone and all dietary requirements, the standard of their menu and ingredients has become the top priority, even more so than ever before. A venue renowned for its incredible food and devotion to rock and blues legend, Rory Gallagher, Gallagher’s Gastropub is back, and by the looks of their social media, the people of Cork, can’t wait to get back there.
Situated at the foot of Corks famous “Patrick’s Hill” and with the Iconic Shandon Bells and Tower casting its shadow through our window we are ready to welcome you to Gallaghers Gastropub. Placed on the corner of MacCurtain Street in the prominent Gallagher House Building (named after Corks favourite son, guitar legend, Rory Gallagher) and at the Gateway to the Victorian Quarter of the City which is fast emerging as a new vibrant hub of hotels, restaurant, cafés bars and live music venues.
