Aura Skin & Laser is a multi award winning salon, based on the Dunmore road in the leafy suburbs of Waterford city. Aura has become the leading “Advanced Skin Care” treatment centre in Waterford city and one of the longest established salons with over 16 years in business. At the forefront is a very committed proprietor Maria Smith who has over 20 years experience in Skin Care and Beauty treatments.
Since opening in 2002 our commitment has always been to carry out all treatments and client interactions with the highest and most professional standards with the satisfaction of our clients being our number one priority.
We as a team believe when it comes to health and wellbeing that we include a full holistic 360 approach.
In particular, when it comes to Skincare we look at things a little different like assessing the client’s diet, lifestyle, stress levels and time management.
We believe in educating our clients as to why the importance of all these factors are so important to achieving optimum skin health and how stress effects the body especially gut health which in turn affects our skin.
We want our clients to be armed with both the knowledge and benefits of certain ingredients especially in a time where people are making really informed decisions when it comes to skincare.
With almost 19 years of running a very successful business, Maria does not sit still for too long, always upskilling both herself and her team to be at the forefront and leaders in the industry. The business is constantly evolving making sure it is up to date with relevant updates within the ethos of the clinic which has maintained the success that’s been achieved.
